Kultur Infopoint
In the historic stable "la stala", dating from 1736 and situated in the heart of Stampa, the Kultur InfoPoint run by the association "die Bergeller–i bargaiot" invites visitors to two multimedia exhibitions that showcase the Bergell from fresh perspectives.
The exhibition «Die Bergeller – i bargaiot: who comes, who goes, who stays» on the ground floor portrays people who shape the valley – locals and newcomers alike. In short films, they talk about their life stories, their connection to Bergell and the transformation of an alpine border region. The collection is constantly growing, thus forming a living portrait of the valley community.
On the upper floor, «Zu Tisch im Bergtal» is dedicated to regional food culture. In atmospheric films, visitors meet people who gather, produce and prepare food in the mountain region. The exhibition shows how tradition, innovation and sustainable craftsmanship are interwoven – and, with interactive elements, also invites children to explore.
The Kultur InfoPoint builds bridges between generations, cultures and ways of life. It brings the Bergell to life as an open, evolving cultural space and connects the past with the present.
Opening hours and admission
Access to both exhibitions is barrier-free and available daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
