The Aela Ski Area, Maloja
In Maloja, the ski area offers fantastic slopes, ideal for families and experienced skiers alike. The area with the Aela Skilift, Pony- and Snowtubinglift is very popular for children and families. Next to the Ponylift, the toboggan run will delight the little ones and the small centrally located restaurant sells hot drinks and snacks.
Skilift Aela, Maloja
Sun, peace and powder: the pleasant ski resort of Aela is a favourite with all those who are looking for active relaxation in unique natural surroundings rather than the hustle and bustle. The Aela ski lift takes skiers & snowboarders from Maloja (1817 m) to the small peak at 2100 m. Even the ride up is a unique experience and the steep lift is the first challenge for the skiier, but once you reach the top you are rewarded with a breath taking view. When there is fresh snow, numerous freeriders make a pilgrimage to the Aela and powder together through the forest.

Pony
A pony lift suitable for taking your first "steps" on skis, a toboggan run for little ones and a brand new snow tubing facility that offers a great alternative for adults and children who don't ski but still want to enjoy the scenery and the mountains. The local ski school and the one in Sils offer a variety of special deals for families and courses for adults and children.

Snowtubing
Fun is guaranteed at Snowtubing Maloja! On the specially designed slope, you glide down the slope on an inner tube, also known as a "Snow-Tube". At the end of the slope, a ski lift takes the children comfortably seated on their own rubber ring to the beginning of the course. Sitting, lying down, on the stomachs or on the backs - everything is allowed downhill!
Snowtubing is located on one of the sunniest hill of Maloja near the Ponylift, only a 10-minute walk from Maloja. Close to the slope, there is also a small restaurant to recharge your batteries.
Snow tubing is only possible when snow conditions allow it. In the days following a snowfall or in the absence of snow this attraction remains closed.

Ski lift Sur Cresta, Casaccia
The Sur Cresta ski lift in Casaccia is ideal for families. The wide and easy slope allows children to feel comfortable skiing on their own. The ski area has a restaurant and free parking. It is open from Christmas to mid-March.
